The department was established in 2010 with an intake of 60 with a vision to become the finest centers of advanced research and training and proactive in industrial interaction and technology. The booming Indian economy has seen hectic activity in the infrastructure sector. As more and more structures rise against the sky in a short span of time, the demand for civil engineers too has been on the rise. The department of civil engg. pulls out all stops to create outstanding engineers with advanced teaching techniques and learning aids for students. Students are not only made experts in technical aspects but also in interpersonal skills, a vital ingredient for them to excel in the fast paced world. The department has fully equipped with all laboratories, lab infrastructure and equipment to meet the highest academic requirements which helps students to gain the practical knowledge also. It undertakes consultancy works also with industries and Govt. Authorities. The Department also organizes FDPs, workshops, conferences and Seminars for professional interaction which benefits both Student and Faculty too. The department has highly qualified and experienced faculty with industry and research experience. Most of the faculties are postgraduates and Ph.Ds. |
