NISP
NISP
The National Innovation and Start-Up Policy (NISP) was launched in the year. This is an Initiative of Ministry of Education (MoE’s) Innovation Cell. The policy has been implemented in coordination with AICTE, UGC, State/UT Governments and Universities.
This policy intends to strengthen the Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs) in innovation and start-up activities in the campus. This aims at strengthening the innovation and entrepreneurial mind-set of students and promote strong inter-institutional partnerships with stakeholders.
RSREC has been a part of the NISP. The institution implemented this policy to This procure all the rules related to I & E activities and Start-ups. Furthermore, the HEI aimed at conducting sessions on entrepreneurship, innovation and IPR.
Through NISP, the students are encouraged to focus more on product development rather than theoretical aspects so that, our HEI can file more IPRs. This will enable experiential learning amongst the students of the campus. The policy will also increase self-employment of the graduates by establishing their own start-ups and this will lead them towards innovation.
