The Institute Ramireddy Subbarami Reddy Engineering College prepared and submitted the data for National Institute Ranking Framework (NIRF) under the Institute ID: IR-O-C-26852.
Kalam Program for IP Literacy and Awareness (KAPILA), a scheme for providing financial assistance to Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs), to file Patents. Through this scheme, the government of India is creating awareness amongst the students for getting right information and correct system for patenting the inventions done by them in the campus life.
KAPILA helps in creating the much-required IP filing ecosystem and thus create a culture of systematically protecting new ideas, research, and innovation having national and global relevance.
The aims of the scheme include creating mindfulness concerning Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) in HEIs, aiding of IP protection of inventions invented from faculty and students of HEIs, training program on IPR for faculty and students of HEIs and sensitization and development of lively IP filing system.
The Outcome of this scheme is Awarenesscreation regarding the need of IP filing, mechanism and methodology involved in filing IP in India and globally, especially amongst students and faculty of higher education institutions.
